Week #9: Caramel & Cream Nail Design

This was supposed to be a bar of chocolate covered with dripping cream, however, now that I look at it closely I think it looks more like caramel than chocolate... so sad I prefer chocolate~

Materials

-Chocolate Nail Polish
-Caramel Nail Polish
-Grey Nail Polish
-White Nail Polish
-Masking Tape
-scissors
-Clear top coat

Instructions

apply two coats of caramel polish over you nail and let them dry, then cut 1mm to 2 mm wide strips and stick them to your nails like in this pic:
After this apply a grey coat and then a chocolate coat and let them dry. Finally, and using white polish, draw drops of "cream", making sure each nail is different from the others~

Week #8: Hello Kitty Nail Design

This is my little sister's Christmas wish.
She wanted so badly little Hello Kitty's heads on her little nails that I had to make this for her, and yes, that's her finger!

Materials

- White Polish
- Black Polish
- Yellow Polish
- Dark Pink Polish (Or any similar color)
- Purple Polish

Instructions

Draw a medium sized white oval at the top of your nail like the one you can see on pic "1". After that draw a little rounded triangle at the top of your oval and repeat this step as you can see on pics "2" and "3". Then draw two black dots and a single yellow dot on the middle (pic 4), and three lines at each side as it can be seen on pic "5".
Finally you need to draw two opposite pink rounded triangles and a purple circle in the middle of them as it is shown on pics "6" and "7" and you have your little Hello Kitty's Head

And this is the result!!
I think they are really really cute!!
And without drawing ribbon and maybe changing the colors you can easily get a common cat for a different design

Week #5: Delicate Fucsia Dots

A very simple design, I know, but I wanted to try something a little bit less childish... And you  know what? I loved it!!
I think this design makes my nails look elegant but still different from a common French Manicure. And the Fucsia looks extremelly shiny over only a clear coat.

- Masking tape
- scissors

This design is a classic:

Week #1: [ˌhæləʊˈiːn]

Instructions and materials

Materials
- White polish
- Black nail marker -water washable-
- Top coat

Instructions

Small spider web

First I applied two coats of white polish and let them dry completely. when they were ready I used the nail marker and drew three lines from a single starting point (see image 2), then I joined the three lines using curve lines -like little Cs- as it can be seen on image 3, and repeat this step a couple of times so you can get what you can see on image 4.
Finally you MUST (Yes! You MUST) apply two to four coats of a clear top coat so the design won't erase.

The Big Spider

Apply two coats of white polish and let them dry completely. After that draw a big oval a little bit below the center of the nail (image 1). Then, draw a small second oval just over the previous one (image 2) and add a little "C" above it (image 3).
Draw two large "C's" from the big oval to the end of the nail as you can see on image 4, and then repeat this step from the big oval to de begining of the nail (image 5)
Finally, repeat steps 2 to 5 on the other side of the pider (image 6) and then apply two to four coats of clear top coat.

Big Spider Web

First apply two coats of white polish and let them dry.
After that, draw two straight lines crossing your nail (image 1) and then two vertical lines crossing the previous lines you drew (image 2), you will get your nail divided in eight little triangles. Now join each side of the triangles by using curve lines as in the image 3, and repeat this step until you get what you can see on image 4. Apply two to four coats of clear top coat.
